Musical Director Caroline Hallam
Caroline is a Sheffield based conductor, educator and workshop leader working across the UK. Sought after for her energetic and encouraging style, she has worked with choirs and singers in a variety of music organisations including Leeds Conservatoire, Sheffield Music Hub, Music in the Round, Vivacity and Denby Dale Ladies Choir. Caroline is the founder and artistic director of ‘Sonority’, a specialist in music education and an experienced workshop leader.
Caroline says, 'I believe that music is a fundamental part of being human and everyone deserves the very best musical experiences.'
Caroline became our Musical Director in September 2025.

Carol Barnes, Accompanist
After studying music at Manchester University, Carol spent many years working as an IT manager in the pharmaceutical industry, retaining music as a source of pleasure and relaxation. Since taking early retirement, Carol has been able to take on more accompanying assignments, including the local choirs in Hathersage and Baslow.
